After School Tutoring
(Sept., 2009 to June, 2010)
The program helps youth with homework and school projects. The program is run by NSAH project coordinators and dedicated tutors from 3:30pm to 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
Subjects tutoring include Math, Reading, Grammar, Social Science, etc.
NSAH recognized for drug prevention efforts with youth

New Sudan American Hope won a statewide award for its work with Sudanese young people to prevent drug abuse.
Many Sudanese families face a generation gap; parents come from a different culture and don't understand the problems their children face in American schools. The group aims to bridge that gap.
New Sudan American Hope formed a Diversity Coalition to help other minority youths. More...
